My wife and I flew to Wichita, KS for a baby shower (hers) and this blue bear joined us for the trip back. (the baggage compartment was full for the return trip) She's about 7mos along now...
I had a chance to fly over to the Beaumont Hotel (east of Wichita) for pancakes and this is what I saw. The grass strip is about 300yds down the road to the right, and you just taxi up the street and park across from the hotel. The two Cessnas are taxiing up from the runway.
I took another 'sunset' flight last night. (about the only comfortable time
to fly when it is 100 degrees outside during the day). It usually cools to
a tolerable 90 or so about sundown.
